1. Select what you want by holding the left mouse button and dragging across it. 2. Hold Ctrl and press C to copy. (On a Mac, hold Command and press C.) 3. Click where you want it to go. 4. Hold Ctrl and press V to paste.
If you want to move rather than duplicate, use Ctrl and X instead of Ctrl and C.
